  • We only accept stainless steel bowls for your dogs food and water

  • All medications must be in a safe container with your dog’s name and instructions included.
  • Waggs and Woofs does NOT launder soiled beddings and blankets. They will be placed in an appropriate bag(s) to transport home.

We do our best to screen for pre-existing health conditions, but some factors may be beyond our control, in the event that your dog needs emergency service they will be rushed to the closest available veterinary hospital.

The following vaccinations are required for your dogs to be able to be boarded at Waggs and Woofs: RABIES, 1 to 3 years (puppies six months of age) DHLPP: yearly or every 3 years based on your vet’s recommendation BORDETELLA :administered within the previous 12 months, and more than 14 days prior to drop off *Bordetella is a vaccination to help prevent a condition known as canine/kennel cough. Bordetella vaccination does not guarantee any protection from this virus, but it does help.

At Waggs and Woofs, we do things differently than other boarding places. Most pet boarding providers don’t provide much of an opportunity to socialize with other pets. At Waggs and Woofs your pet will be able to enjoy playing with the other boarding pets at no extra charge, if both animals are of equal size. You can also have them join our doggy daycare for the day for $20 a day.

Our luxury suites are 9’ X 7’, climate controlled, and we offer individual care for all types of dogs.

We accept cash and check payments. We are looking to add online and card payment features starting in October.2024

Our main concern is everyone’s safety, we follow a “school closing” policy during winter storms. This means when Stillwater school district is closed that also means Waggs and Woofs is closed also. If there is a delay our program will run as a normal day.

If you’re looking to schedule an evaluation please call 518-441-6499 or email k9adventures@waggsandwoofs.com Evaluations can be scheduled Monday-Thursday. Non refundable evaluation fee of $40 plus tax (full day). No reservations will be held until evaluations are done.

When you bring in your dog for their evaluation we ask that you drop them off for AT LEAST 4 hours. Upon arrival, it is likely that your pet will be overly excited or anxious at their new surroundings so this time frame allows us to really see how your pet operates in new surroundings, and around other animals.

We are trained to pick up on all of your dog’s cues: breathing, body language, sounds, etc. While most dogs are able to pass the evaluation, not all pups make it through. This in NO way implies that you have an aggressive or antisocial pup. This simply means that they were unable to adapt to these specific surroundings in a way that we (and your pup) were comfortable with. You are welcome to retake the evaluation if your pup did not pass. (Sometimes they are just having an off day). We will discuss your pet’s test with you, in detail, at the time of pickup

We are Fear Free Pet Professional certified, have completed Dog Guru’s 101 & 201 training programs. We are also CPR certified and trained in animal first aid care.

We offer two indoor climate controlled play areas with special rubberized flooring specifically designed for canine use. **dogs should never play on concrete floors to help protect their joints and paws**

YES, this is one of the many reasons we do evaluations. Your dog(s) will be evaluated and properly grouped.

YES, We can give your dog 1 on 1 playtime and enrichment time.

Waggs and Woofs is more than just a playdate for your dog(s). Dogs who attend doggy daycare are more apt to following commands as these commands are reiterated throughout the day by daycare staff. They are less likely to suffer from separation anxiety because studies show dogs who attend doggy daycare are less anxious, which means less destructive behaviors like chewing on furniture or soiling the home. The physical and mental stimulation of being in a pack is something all dogs inherently crave, they look forward to seeing their pack-mates, playing games/enrichment and coming home a happy, and tired pup. Doggy daycare also helps provide energy outlets which leads to a healthier fit dog. In addition it provides a peace of mind while the pet parent is away for the day.
