At Waggs-And-Woofs, we pride ourselves on offering luxury dog boarding and daycare services that go beyond the ordinary. Our private home in Saratoga Springs, NY, sits on 5 1/2 acres, providing a serene and stress-free environment for your furry family. Unlike high-volume kennels, we focus on individualized care and attention, ensuring every dog feels at home. We hope our care allows our pet parents to have as worry-free of a time away from their loved one as possible!
New owners Alena and Alex come with a life-long passion for service and a love of animals. Who couldn’t be more excited to continue the proud traditions established at Waggs-And-Woofs in 2010? Alena has been in the Capital Region most of her life and recently moved back from Rhode Island to be closer to family and run Waggs-And-Woofs with her partner Alex. She studied nursing and previously worked with dementia and Alzheimer’s patients, she also helped care for her mother who struggled with MS. Her caring and compassionate nature make her a perfect fit as a caretaker not only for humans but animals as well. She is also certified as a Fear Free Animal Care Professional and has completed Dog Guru’s training programs. We take the trust pet parents place in us very seriously.
Alex is an Active-duty Army veteran with service in Iraq and over ten years of service in Public Safety as a federal civilian employee with the Department of the Navy. Helping people with his friendly and open spirit has been the cornerstone of his life’s work and he sees helping people with their animals as a continuation of that service. This is the perfect intersection for his love of people, animals, and business!
Our services include crate-free suites, indoor and outdoor play areas, and a variety of enrichment activities tailored to each dog’s needs. We emphasize small group socialization and one-on-one attention to ensure every pet is happy, healthy, and well-adjusted. Our climate-controlled facilities, combined with a comprehensive security system, provide peace of mind for pet owners, knowing their dogs are safe and comfortable.
